A web developer is a professional who specializes in the development of websites and web applications. Web developers use a variety of programming languages and technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, to build the functional components of a website or application. In addition to technical skills, web developers should also have an understanding of user experience (UX) principles to ensure that the websites they create are easy to use and navigate. Web developers may work for web development companies, or they may be self-employed and offer their services to clients on a freelance basis.
