What Is the Hermes Creative Awards?
The Hermes Creative Awards is one of the most prestigious and longstanding competitions in the marketing and communications industry. Administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization established in 1995, the competition draws entries from thousands of marketing, advertising, public relations and media production professionals across the globe.
The 2026 competition received over 6,000 entries from the United States, Canada and 29 other countries. The Hermes Creative Awards are particularly meaningful due to their judging philosophy: entries are evaluated on their own creative merits — what the team achieved relative to the challenge at hand — rather than ranked against other submissions in the category. That means multiple winners can be recognized in each category, but only when the work truly earns it.
Awards are given at three tiers:
- Platinum (the highest honor)
- Gold
- Honorable Mention
Earning Gold reflects a high standard of creative excellence as determined by industry professionals who serve as judges.
