Webolutions is thrilled to grab a trophy for its award-winning website design during the 25th Annual Communicator Awards. This year, Webolutions received the Visual Appeal – Function for Websites award for hc-companies.com, a leading North American horticultural container company.
“I wasn’t just thinking, ‘I was just buying a website,’” said Craig Ruvere, Marketing and Communications Manager at The HC Companies. “I was looking for people who could make it something that could disrupt the industry, I wanted to buy something that wasn’t safe, or mimicking what I already had. That’s exactly what Webolutions delivered.”
The HC Companies website features eye-catching product displays, resources and events for nurseries, greenhouses and consumers. Users can engage with an interactive catalog to browse the right containers for their gardening and horticultural needs. They can also attend local distributor shows, get the latest horticultural insights and request product samples. The site creates an inspiring experience that helps making growing easier.
“Working on this project was such a breath of fresh air,” said Torie Hoffman, Content Strategist at Webolutions. “The vision for it was so unique and innovative, our entire team was energized and excited working on this. Seeing the transformation from the beginning stages of our initial ideas to what the site blossomed (pun a little bit intended) into was truly amazing.
